What: Come to realization that parents were spies

Where: Lower East Side / Soviet Union / Cold War 

Why: Wanted to find out truth about parents.

How: Looked through their history and stuff

Lead: They were the most famous orphans of the cold war, only 6 and 10 years old in 1953 when their parents were executed at Sing Sing for delivering atomic-bomb secrets to the Soviet Union. Then they were whisked from an unwanted limelight to urban anonymity and eventually to suburban obscurity.

Rewrite Lead: Children of cold war spies finally accept the brutal past of their parents who spent their career sending crucial information to Soviet Union enemies.

4. Is it a private building or can you visit it? In a shopping center, houses a pub called the Wonky Pub, so yes it's public

6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? inspired by Jan Marcin Szancer‘s fairytale illustrations and also by Per Dahlberg’s art,

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) I picked this building because when I first looked at it, I felt like I was looking at something in Disneyland. It looks like some magical other world building and that really drew me to it. I think that it also kind of looks like looking into one of the crazy mirrors at a carnival which adds to the mystical, fairytale like aspect of the building.

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) I picked this building because it has a really cool shape. I think it kind of looks like a caterpillar which seems cool because its a huge garden. I think the huge dome shapes are really interesting and just makes it stand out.

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) I picked this building because its really intriguing to look at. When you first see it, its really cool to look at, then you wonder how they made a building twist. It seems like an interesting building so its cool to find out that people actually live there.

6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? Originally created for thesis for McGill University, then for showcase for Expo 67 world fair.

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) I picked this building because it looks like lego's to me. It looks like a bunch of mix and matched boxes all stacked on one another. Some look like they're floating in the air and some looked all twisted and stacked and I think it was an interesting building to look at.

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) I picked this building because when you first look at it, it looks like a piece of silk or something melting. Its really smooth and flowy so it instantly attracts you.

Canadian Pilot:
Who?
Who is involved? Canadian pilot and passengers. People on flight of both planes.
Who does/did the situation affect? People on plane that when down then back up quickly.

What?
What is happening? Pilot of first plane takes a nap and wakes up groggy, hearing that another plane is heading his direction he becomes alert looking for the plane. He see's a light in the distance thinking its the plane, so he nosedive's under the light so there will be no collision. As he starts nosediving the captain realizes that the light is a planet and they are heading straight for the plane so they turn the plane the opposite direction, making the plane go straight up.
What did happen? They missed the plane by heading straight back up.
What are the consequences? Some injuries.
What is different about this? It doesn't happen at all. People usually don't mistake planets for planes.
What are the choices? Hit the plane or go up.

Where did or will this happen? Canada / In the air.
Why?
Why did this happen or will it happen? Because the pilot was asleep then woke up a little dazed and couldn't tell the difference.

How?
How did it or will it happen? Happened because pilot went straight down then straight back up almost immediately.
How much does it cost? How ever much to fix injuries.
How many people does this affect? 14 passengers and 2 flight attendants with injures plus everyone else on the plane.
How do you feel about this? I feel scared that it happened, but thankful that everyone is okay except for some small injuries.

What is happening? 6-year-old is throwing a temper tantrum and his handcuffed and arrested.
What did happen? The girl was going crazy and throwing things and injuring others so the police were called.
What are the consequences? Community backlash, the child was charged with simple battery
What is different about this? Most 6 year olds that throw tantrums don't get arrested.
What are the choices? Call the police or let the child hurt someone or herself.

When did or will this happen? No specific date given, guessing a year or so ago.

Where did or will this happen? Georgia, Creekside Elementary

Why?
Why did this happen or will it happen? Because the child was out of control and no one from the school could handle her without hurting her.

How?
How did it or will it happen? A little girl went crazy and the police came.
How much does it cost? However much to replace broken things and other fees.
How many people does this affect? All family and the police department for looking bad because they arrested a 6 year old.
How do you feel about this? I feel sorry for the girl, but I think she deserved it.  

Graduating teen:

Who is involved? Austin Fisher, mother with cancer, school board, whole school, small town
Who does/did the situation affect? Austin Fisher, his mother, senior class.

What?
What is happening? Senior wasn't allowed to graduate because he had too many absences. Then the town found out he was absent so much because he was taking care of his mother who had Stage 4 cancer, and they let him graduate.
What did happen? He ended up graduating
What are the consequences? None really, the student was allowed to graduate.
What is different about this? A lot of students have excessive absences, but this was for a good reason that he was help his sick mother.
What are the choices? Let the kid graduate, or look bad because he was only helping his sick mother.

Where did or will this happen? Carrollton, Ohio

Why?
Why did this happen or will it happen? Because the student wasn't allowed to graduate, he let it be know the reason, then it got attention.

How did it or will it happen? After getting so much attention, the school board found out and let him graduate.

How many people does this affect? Student, mother, and town
How do you feel about this? Good that they let him graduate because he was only trying to help his sick mom.
